　　Last week, our school arranged a camping for us, so I went to camping for a two days. On the first day, I had a good time with my classmates, we played some games, we shared our funny life experience. When my friend talked about her mom, suddenly, I thought of my mother’s birthday, today was her birthday, I almost forgot about it, I wanted to send her my best wishes, but it was nearly 10 pm, it seemed too late. My friend suggested me to call my mom, she said though it was late, it was better than not to do. So I called my mom, I sent my wishes, she was so happy. I made the right decision.

　　One day when the first bell rang， the monitor stood up and said， “Our English teacher is going to have an operation today. It has not been decided yet who will give us the lesson. ”The class turned silent at his words. It seemed that no one would believe him. In fact， all of us were afraid that Miss Li would no longer be with us. At this moment， Miss Li appeared at the door. She looked tired and pale.

“I’ll be missing you badly， ”she said in a low voice， “I have asked the doctor to put off the operation till tomorrow because I don’t want you to miss a single class. ”She went on， “A new teacher will take my place and I hope you’ll get on well with him. I’ll come back as soon as I’m better. ”

　　I still remember that thing a few years later and feel afraid. It happened on my way to play. It was Sunday. I would like to Maggie’s home for a visit. However, when I passed a river, I saw three children at my age playing in the river. How happy they were! At that time, I had a idea that I would like to ask Maggie to go swimming with me in the river. Suddenly, something scare happened. One the three chiledren slipped and the other two wanted to help him. Unfortunately, all of them were struggling. I was shock. And then I rushed to the river bank immediately. However, I saw nothing but the peaceful river. I knew what happened. I was frightened. A few hours later I heard the death of them. I was so frightened and sad that I have never go never any river since then.

　　I have a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as well as focus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the most important in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then, it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. In the next several days, my parents and I visited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went out for fun together. We children were always the most excited. Now, holiday is coming to the end and I will go to school soon. I am so happy that I have a wonderful winter holiday.
