　　Christmas is the most important festival in the western world. It falls onDecember 25th. When my mother and I stayed in America, we were invited by one ofmy mother's friends to have Christmas with an American family. We bought somepresents for our American friends on our way to their house.

　　They had prepared different kinds of gifts for their family and guests whenwe got to their house, such as Christmas candles, cakes, cards, little toys,biscuits and so on. A Christmas tree was placed in the comer of the brillianthall. How beautiful it was! We were impressed by these. We had a big meal.

　　After dinner, they told us some interesting stories about Christmas. Welearned that Christmas had something to do with God. We went to bed at midnight.Though we knew the Santa Claus was not true, we were still waiting for the SantaClaus with white beard to bring us presents.And we received many beautifulpresents the next morning.

　　This Christmas was really unforgettable. Not only did I have a good time,but also I knew something about foreign culture.

People are sticked intheir sofa to enjoy their favorite television programs. As to me, I likewatching movies and records. I can watch them on television anytime.

　　Most beautiful in a Mirror

　　When facing a mirror, how do you feel? Proud? Satisfied? Or sad? In fact,most people look the most beautiful just when looking at themselves in themirror. It is probably because everyone wishes to be flattered, especially by afair mirror. That the reflections in the mirrors show their beauty makes themfeel comfortable.

　　So a suggestion has been given: Smile to a mirror when you feel lonely. Ofcourse, if you are really smiling to your heart, you will be glad to enjoy yourlook, even the spots on it, which are regarded as your own characters. Now, ones look depends on one s heart, though at the same time, the mirrors unfair. Thespots, however, will not go away unless you clear them. Flattery is never true,it must prevent you from improving yourself. In the end, I would like to say:Let the mirror put its finger on your weak spot, then you may be the mostbeautiful in the fair life.
