　　it was quite hot this summer vacation，so one day my brother and i went swimming.

　　we changed the clothes and went up to the swimming pool.how i wanted to join them!but i couldn’t swim,so first brother taught me how to push the water,how to take a breath

　　今年暑假非常热，一天哥哥和我一起去游泳. 我们换过衣服后跳进游泳池。池里有许多人，我是多么想加入他们的行列啊!可我不会游泳，所以哥哥先教我如何划水和如何在水中换气，然后他在水中用胳膊托着我让我浮在水面上。然后我试着自己游，我游了一段才发现哥哥已不在身边了.我停下来，结果呛了一口水.哥哥游向我，说："太棒了，你会游泳了。"那天我们一直游到游泳池关门才极不情愿地离开。

　　I have many hobbies,such as reading,skating,and watching TV.But reading is my favorite hobby.

　　I like reading for three reasons.First of all,books introduce me to a new world,which is colourful and without time and space limit,Through reading,I can trace back.to ancient Egypt,the cradle of human civilization.

　　It can bring myself to the United states,a glamorous land I have been longing to visit.Secondly,reading can better myself by showing me a new horizon.

　　In the past years,most of my knowledge has been obtained from books.I have learned from many people by reading about their ideas on scithee,politics,life and society.Thirdly,reading bridge the gap between my dream and my goal.In ordcr to succeed in my career in the future,I must keep reading,thinking and practising.

　　Reading has become part of my life.Every day,I spend some time reading books,newspapcrs and magazines.At night,I can hardly go to steep without a novel in my hand.

　　I have many hobbies, such as playing computer games, reading comics, going shopping. I also like playing pingpong very much. I have a friend. His name is Nick. He is crazy about playing pingpong, too. If we have free time, we often play pingpong together. One summer holiday, he took me to a sports centre. Then we played pingpong together, but he always lost. He was very angry. He said to me, "I will beat you in a month.""OK. We will have a match at that time."After a month, when I talked to him about it, he answered,"I forgot the thing! I don't want to have a match with you." I was very surprised and angry and said,"Oh, you're a forgetful boy!”
